A native of Waltham, Massachusetts, Fred graduated from Norwich University in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Management. He received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Alumni Association in 1988 and was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Engineering Management Degree in 2003.He is a director of the Frontier Bank and was a councilman of the City of Greenwood Village, Colorado, 1970-1979. Fred was on the Board of Directors of the Denver Nuggets, an NBA team, 1975-1982, and was chairman of the board 1981-1982. He was also a director of Micromedex, 1975-1985 and treasurer, 1983-1985. Fred founded HaynesTrane in 1968 and now serves as the CEO for Haynes Mechanical Systems.

Kraig graduated from Bates College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He has held a Board of Governor’s seat, President, and Director status of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of ASHRAE from 1985 to 1996; and has been involved in many community programs including Families First, Belay Board of Governors, and Save Our Youth. He was a Bridgton academy Trustee from 2003 – 2009 and inducted into the Bridgton Academy Hall of Fame in 2010. He started working for Haynes in 1982 as a New Equipment Sales Representative and has worked in many roles during his career including Service Manager, General Manager, and currently President.
Terry KoenigVice President
Terry, originally from Rapid City, South Dakota, started at Haynes in 1976 as an Apprentice Technician. He has worked in many roles during his career including technician, service supervisor, operations manager, sales, sales manager, general manager and his current position as Vice President. This unique experience has afforded him the ability to provide perspectives from all levels of our business and combining technical, sales, and management approaches with a primary focus in developing relationships with valued customers. He graduated from the Denver Institute of Technology. He has worked with Families First for over 15 years and has supported the Wounded Warrior Project since 2011.
